As I have been around the local motor racing scene for a while now I thought a more detailed background on my history in motorsport may be of interest. 

Back in NZ in the late seventies early eighties I was a member of a very strong car club, the club that runs the Manfield race track. I was a committee member for a number of years including a stint as club captain. 

During this time I was also one of the club delegates to the Motorsport NZ council as well as being a member of one of the councils sub-committees. 

I have been involved with almost all aspects of running races, rallies and club events from scrutineering  to time keeping, judge of the fact, assistant clerk of the course, event secretary etc. 

My background, experience and continued (limited) participation in the sport also gives me a fair idea of what goes on behind the scenes.

 It would seem that the motor sport competitor below the national level has been very much neglected , if you look further down the page you will see a bunch of 'orrible photos of my cars.

It is now my intention to leave the national events to those who want and need the kudos from being a "photographer to the stars" and look after club and state level events. In the hope that you, the competitor will have some nice shots of your competition days to look back on, and not a motley collection of images like mine.

I am also willing to help where I can in producing images with text or other additions to present to your sponsors or help to secure sponsors.
